AirTran Airways Reports September Traffic
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today reported traffic for the month of September. The airline reported all-time September record revenue passenger miles, (RPMs), load factor and enplaned passengers.
For September, traffic grew by 1.7 percent to more than 1.3 billion RPMs. The company's load factor for the month was 77.7 percent. The airline enplaned more than 1.8 million passengers for the month, a 1.4 percent increase from the same month one year ago.
